To celebrate ISL’s 20th anniversary, the Primary and Kindergarten students collaborated on a beautiful giant quilt. Each student sewed a square depicting something they enjoy about school or being part of the ISL community. The quilt features many aspects of ISL life, including musical instruments, sports such as football, hockey and basketball, fruits and vegetables, and even a slice of

Tuesday 3rd June marked the annual ISL music concert at Salle Ellipse in Sainte-Foy. Over 120 students participated, from Grade 1 to Grade 11, showcasing a wide variety of film music repertoire, ensemble formations, and instruments. This event was a wonderful opportunity for students, staff, and families to come together as a school community and celebrate the learning and progress

This year’s Young Authors Fiction Festival (YAFF) had more than 1,000 entries. Two Senior Kindergarten students, Quinn and Edward, earned two of the winning spots! The primary school has been celebrating the start of summer with La Fête de la Musique, an event that has been rocking France since 1982! The school day began with the drumming circle waking up the neighbours with a lively selection of beats. The Senior Kindergarten students celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th 2025 by thinking of important women and girls that have enriched and inspired their lives. We discussed important women in history that have paved the way for other women to progress and succeed.  The students drew portraits of the women they chose and explained the reasons for their choice.
