This week the Grade 2s visited Dr. Feeney’s lab and got to witness a variety of cool light experiments linked to their unit of inquiry “How the World Works”. The central idea of the unit is “Light comes from a variety of sources and has an impact on life.” Dr. Feeney demonstrated how to make rainbows, lasers and a bright flash. The students are tuned in and have lots of good questions to help in exploring the topic in more depth!
