Grade 3 Volume Investigation

In Grade 3 Maths lessons we have been learning about the ‘volume’ of shapes. We used the formula: Volume = length × width × height/depth to find the volume of regular shapes and counted cubes to find the volume of irregular shapes. We then made our own creations using exactly 20 cubes and displayed them like an art exhibition for other students to see, and posed questions to make them think.
