Secondary students and teachers are invited to take part in the ‘OFF February Challenge’, a wellbeing challenge focused on reducing social media use.
Understanding that a full month might feel daunting, the challenge is designed to be flexible. Some may give up social media completely for February, while others might select a specific app to avoid or set limits such as no use on weekdays or restricting usage to one hour a day.
A sign-up sheet is available in the school foyer for everyone to register and personalise their challenge.
Students are encouraged to challenge their friends (or parents?!), adding a fun, competitive element to the experience, with prizes on offer to keep motivation high.
