Here at ISL, the staff have been hard at work preparing for the rentrée. That means setting up classrooms, collaborating on planning, and discussing exciting projects for the year ahead.
The science department in particular has had an extra busy week, moving everything back into the newly renovated biology lab and prep room. These refreshed spaces are looking fantastic after months of work!
To cap off a productive week, staff were treated to a delicious lunch on Friday prepared and offered by Marwa and Haitham. Thank you both for this wonderful gesture!
We were excited to welcome our new students and their parents over the past week, and it was a joy to see all of our returning students back on campus to kick off another great year.
A big thank you to the PTA for organising the welcome back coffee. It was a lovely opportunity for parents and guardians to reconnect and start the year together.
Information about our Enrichment Activities (after-school programmes) will be sent to families on Friday, following the finalisation of the schedule. Parents will also want to keep in mind that on Saturday, 6th September, the “Forum des Associations” will take place in most areas of Lyon, where you can sign-up your child/children for activities near where you live.
We wish everyone a wonderful start to the new school year!
