The ISL Robotics team recently finished as runners-up in the French National Championships, part of Le Défi Robotique 2025 by Robotique FIRST France, which took place in Lyon on 22nd March.
This is a fantastic achievement for the club, which has only been running for the past two and a half years. It is a testament to all the hard work the team has put in since September, especially since January when they qualified for the National Championships.
Their reward for finishing as runners-up is a place at the European Premier event in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, from 1–5 July.
This is the largest robotics tournament in Europe, and the ISL team will be competing against 95 other teams from 52 countries.
We are extremely proud of the team, wish them the best of luck in Eindhoven, and look forward to many more years of success.
Well done to all involved.
Mr. O’Reilly and Dr. Feeney
