To celebrate ISL’s 20th anniversary, the Primary and Kindergarten students collaborated on a beautiful giant quilt. Each student sewed a square depicting something they enjoy about school or being part of the ISL community.
The quilt features many aspects of ISL life, including musical instruments, sports such as football, hockey and basketball, fruits and vegetables, and even a slice of our famous Pizza Days! In total, 100 students contributed, and it was stitched together by a dedicated team of teachers — Mrs Vasset, Mrs Byrne, Mrs Daeuble and Mrs Clow.
This collaborative creation, full of student voice and choice, will be hung outside the Assembly Hall as a lasting souvenir of 20 years of ISL and a reflection of our international-mindedness and caring community.
