This year’s Young Authors Fiction Festival (YAFF) had more than 1,000 entries. Two Senior Kindergarten students, Quinn and Edward, earned two of the winning spots!
We all travelled to Paris by train for the awards ceremony, which was held at the American Library in Paris, right next to the Eiffel Tower.
Once we arrived, we sat in one of the big rooms at the library and patiently listened to all the speeches.
Then came the exciting moment: it was time to collect our certificates. Edward came 4th and Quinn came 1st!
We celebrated one another and took photos with our certificates. There was even time for a few silly moments!
A signed copy of their published book is now available to borrow from the library.
