Abantwana baseKindergarten babambe iPiknikhi yeTeddy Bears kutshanje kubo bonke abazali babo (kwaye bazala abahlobo!). Abazali beza nengubo zabo zepikiniki bahlala emthunzini we trees whilst the Kindergarteners served food they had made in class and fresh fruit and vegetables they had grown in their own garden. Our lettuces were freshly picked that morning and the strawberries used to make jam and the fruit salad had been planted, cared for and harvested by the children back in the early spring. Although our garden is now empty, all of the Kindergartners now have the knowledge and skills to grow their own food.
