The Grade 1s and 2s have been learning all about inventions in their unit of inquiry, Where We Are In Place And Time.
The Grade 1s used their problem-solving skills to build inventions using magnetic building blocks called Cubelets. They created lighthouses, self-driving cars and dancing robots. You can see some of their creations below!
Using the littleBits magnetic circuitry sets, the Grade 2s put their imaginations to the test and worked with a partner to invent a robot that makes art. They learned about the frustrations and importance of trial and error and came up with some really inventive machines!
Well done to both groups for creating some really interesting inventions!
