Izandi ze-PE kunye ne-Junior Kindergarten

In the Kangaroo class, the Junior Kindergarten (JK) students are beginning to blend sounds. They can recognise the letter sounds and join them together to decode words.

inye of the activities done to practise blending was a phonics game in Phys Ed. class. Pupils wore bibs with a letter/sound, and as they heard the sounds called, they had to join together to form words. They had lots of fun while learning!
