Dear Parents/Guardians :

There will be a number of school-sponsored field trips throughout the year, including trips to museums or the local library. For your child to be able to participate in such field trips we ask you to sign the attached general permission slip allowing your child to leave the school campus, on foot, to participate in neighbourhood activities or projects relevant to a particular topic being studied, as well as to participate in day trips in the region using public transportation or school buses.

Parents/guardians will be informed in advance, through their child’s homework book and/or newsletters, of all days trips planned. No further response will be needed unless the parents wish to withhold permission for the specified trip. Students cannot participate in off-campus activities or field trips unless they have this written permission from their Parent/Guardian.

who is in grade ______ (grade level) to leave the school campus, on foot, to participate in neighbourhood activites or projects relevant to a particular topic being studied, as well as to participate in day trips in the region using public transportation or school buses. I understand that I will be informed in advance of any day trip planned, and that I can withold permission for any specific trip by contacting the school.
