The diversity and flexibility of
the pedagogical approaches respect the children as active contributors
to the learning process. The school is an authorized
IB diploma school and
has candidate status for the IBO's Primary Years Programme (PYP).
We are a member
of the Council of International Schools (www.cois.org).
Classes range from Kindergarten
to High school, and we welcome children from age 4 onwards.
Admission is based on school records, evaluation and, where possible,
an interview. The school offers full 'English as a Second Language' support, however,
a minimum level of English is required for entry into the secondary school. Students
are taught five days a week. The school day runs from 8:30 to 15:10, with some IB diploma
classes extending to 16:30. After-school activities in the fields of sports, arts
and community service take place Monday - Thursday. The school calendar follows,
with minor modifications, the calendar of the French
'zone A'.
