School Calendar

N.B.   The ISL school calendar broadly follows that of the French ‘Zone   A’, which includes Lyon.The Christmas break starts two days   earlier to allow people to travel home before Christmas Eve and   the November break is shortened accordingly.For examination   reasons we only have a one week break in February.  The second   date indicated for each break is the date for return to school.See   also  Current Events for more details of what's happening in ISL

Thursday, September 3rd:	Term 1 begins
Friday, October 23rd after class - Tuesday, November 3rd:	Mid-term break
Wednesday November 11th:  Armistice 1918	No classes
Tuesday December 15th	International day
Wednesday, December 16th:	School breaks up after classes for winter break.
Monday, January 4th:	Teacher only day
Tuesday, January 5th:	Term 2 begins
Friday, February 19th after class - Monday, March 1st	Mid-term break
Monday April 5th: Easter Monday	No classes
Friday  April 9th after class - Monday April 26th	Spring Break
Thursday, May 13th: Ascension + Friday May 14th	No classes
Monday, May 24th: Whit Monday.	No classes
Friday, June 25th:	School breaks up at 12.00 for Summer vacation

N.B. School starts on Thursday september 2nd for the new school year
