Field Trips and Activities

In order to complement its academic programme and make student learning relevant to the world outside school, as well as to promote personal and social development, ISL offers frequent outings or field trips related to its curriculum areas. These include practical geography field trips, cultural and linguistic outings and yearly primary camp which focuses on outdoor pursuits.

ISL also offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities in the fields of sports, the arts and for the older students, local or international community service. These include a thriving drama club which puts on annual school productions; an Eco-Club which contributes to helping ISL be an environmentally friendly school; a digital photography club, and a maths club which participates in international mathematics competitions, as well as various other sporting and cultural activities. The school also sends a delegation each year to an MUN (Model United Nations: www.thimun.org ) conference, usually somewhere in Europe, and the ISL student council is very active in organizing student-led activities and events.
